The Metropolitan Doula Group serves as a forum for doulas to meet, talk and support each other in the work they do. We welcome doulas from all walks of life regardless of training, certification, background or beliefs surrounding birth.

The Metropolitan Doula Group supports community and education to promote the professional growth of our members. We are committed to providing a safe forum where doulas can process the experiences of their work.

We believe every woman deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and are committed to supporting women regardless of their individual choices for labor and birth.
